Screen – a very helpfull tool

Reading lots of blogs with topics about LISP I recently came across this entry Bill Clementson's Blog: Screen and the Benefit of a Change of Perspective.
I started at once using it, and must say screen – The Terminal Multiplexer is really a great and handy tool. I think most of you Linux users know it, but someone like me – with a long-term Windows relationship – has to dig quite a bit to find all those precious little nuggets inside Linux.

Allegro CL 8.0 Free Express Edition on Gentoo Linux

I finally got Allegro CL 8.0 working on my Linux workstation. GUI reminds me alot of Windows.
Another step further in my learning experience, and so I have now very different working enviroments to choose from.
Just need enough spare time to work with all these fascinating tools … *sigh*
